The false floor

- Categories : Blog & News

A false floor is a raised flooring system designed to facilitate the installation and maintenance of technical equipment, while offering flexibility in space configuration.

False floors, also known as raised or technical floors, are a type of flooring used in commercial, IT and industrial buildings. It consists of modular panels supported by a metal structure, creating an empty space between the floor and the original floor. This space is often used to house electrical cables, pipes, ventilation ducts and other service equipment, facilitating installation, maintenance and repair.

False floors offer several advantages, including flexibility in space configuration, efficient management of cables and equipment, and the possibility of improving air circulation and air-conditioning distribution. They are commonly used in data centers, offices, control rooms, laboratories and other environments where technical infrastructure management is crucial.
