PVC flooring can be classified into several categories according to different criteria such as composition, structure and application. Here are some of the main types of PVC flooring:

Homogeneous PVC: In this type of flooring, all layers are made of the same PVC material. This gives the floor homogeneity in terms of color and pattern. Homogeneous PVC floors are often used in high-traffic commercial spaces because of their durability.

Heterogeneous PVC: As previously mentioned, heterogeneous PVC is composed of different layers of material. It offers a greater variety of patterns and designs, while retaining PVC's advantages of durability and ease of maintenance.

PVC in strips or tiles: PVC flooring is available in rolls (strips) or tiles. Rolls are generally used in large commercial spaces where rapid installation is required, while tiles are more common in medium-to-small residential and commercial spaces

Self-adhesive PVC floors: Some PVC floors feature an adhesive layer on the back for easy installation. They are often used in DIY and residential renovation projects.

Clip-on PVC floors: These types of floor are designed with a clip or locking system that enables glueless installation. They offer a glueless alternative for commercial and residential applications.

PVC strip or plank flooring: This type of flooring imitates the appearance of wood with PVC strips or planks. It is often used in residential spaces to achieve the aesthetics of wood with the advantages of PVC in terms of durability and easy maintenance.
